On an icy April night, the Royal Mail Steamer Titanic cruised into an iceberg, and a place in history. 2200 souls on board. Over 1300 drowned in the Atlantic's calm sea. 76 of them were children. And 52 held a steerage ticket.

|
Today however, Titanic is one of the hottest things to talk about. James Cameron's record hit, Celine Dion's chilling song, and 11 Academy Awards contribute greatly to this.
Here are some facts about the movie Titanic :
-at the beginning of the movie when the camera is panning around the
people waiting to get on the ship it goes by a man who is getting his
beard checked for lice. That's James Cameron.
-the stars when Rose is looking up at the sky at the end are in the
shape of the heart of the ocean.
-in her dream at the end of the movie the clock on the wall behind Leo
is at the time the Titanic sank.
-the pictures that Rose brings with her all the time (as you may have
noticed) are pictures of all the things she and Jack were going to do
together, like ride horses and go on a roller coaster.
